“Oh dean- the harvest is ripe- won’t you help me pluck them?”

He wakes up. His pulse is rocketing through his veins, a thick hot rush of adrenaline and and and -Dammit- Dean lies there, trying to keep his breathing in check, and slowly turns his head. Castiel is still asleep on his side, worry lines gone, eyelashes just visible in the dark, his hair mashed against his pillow snoring like the little angel he is.
Dean looks back up at the ceiling he still needs to repaint.
Thats it. He doesn’t care how good they taste, Cas’ vegetables are evil. He went 20 odd years without ‘em, and he’s done. Oh god. Dean closes his eyes with a grimace. He’s never going to be able to look at Cas’ tomatoes again.
